stuart:pease have produced GRP cabinets for many years, the majority of which are supplied to Network Rail in order to replace their existing stainless steel cabinets and doors which are subject to a high level of theft. Other clients include the NHS, Chevron/Texaco, and various utility companies in order to accommodate electrical components.
The cabinets previously produced have ranged in size from 500mm cubed, to sectional cabinets 16m long x 3m deep x 3m high. The typical cabinet will usually incorporate a plywood back board (completely covered by the laminates) for fixing electrical components, stainless steel hinges and door stays, a rain drip, an internal flange for securing to the ground (usually a concrete plinth), and a lockable door. All cabinets are manufactured in a class 0 fire retardant resin, which is approved to BS476 parts 6 and 7, unless otherwise specified.
Any size, custom built
Larger cabinets may also incorporate multiple access doors, lifting lugs, additional reinforcing where deemed necessary and internal flanges for bolting individual sections of the cabinet together. GRP cabinets of all shapes and sizes can be catered for, and a supply and fit service can also be provided if required.
